CelebrASIAN at Westfield UTC | May 8, 2008 : In celebration of Asian Pacific Islander American Heritage Month, the San Diego Asian Film Foundation took its short films to Westfield UTC in La Jolla on May 8, 2008 for a free event called CelebrASIAN. Attendees shopped, enjoyed food samples, and experienced an evening of cultural entertainment and engaging short films. Plus, there were raffles for gift cards and prizes. Attendees also learned about UTC's revitalization plan, which includes an art house theater. Performers included a wide variety of talented acts, such as The Clean Up Crew, Pakaraguian Kulintang, Da Real Punjabis, UCSD Wushu Club, and singer/songwriter Terry Matsuoka.
